Improv self portraits with Allie McCathren (1st July)

Students will learn how to recreate an image using improv quilting techniques and fabrics grouped into values. This technique can be used to recreate any image, and is especially striking with portraits. The workshop will focus on how to improvisationally piece within a given value, and how to combine shapes and values to create a larger image. No prior knowledge of improv piecing is required.
