Think outside of the Block with Luke Haynes (28th April 2024)

In this class, we will learn to “Think Outside of the Block”! We will be focusing on half-square triangles (HSTs) in this installment of this class. We will explore different ways to add variety and interest to the well-known block. We will play around with ways in which we can transform our HSTs by changing scale, colors, and material. The goal of this class is to diversify the way we understand and use well-known quilting blocks!

Materials needed:

1 yard each of at least 2 colors. may I suggest finding some fun or interesting fabric like old sheets or clothing, [contrasting is better, squint at them next to each other and if they look very different then that is right]
